Gannon was born and raised in Cincinnati. He played sports all throughout his childhood, but soccer became his focus into high school. Gannon was always the kid in grade school who looked forward to art class when most of his friends dreaded it. His mother introduced him to Industrial Design while he was in high school by taking him to DAAP Works in 2012. After going through DAAP Works, Gannon knew that he wanted to attend DAAP and major in Industrial Design.
Fast forward seven years, and Gannon is a senior Industrial Design student at DAAP and will be graduating in the spring of 2019. He has worked on design teams at Hamilton Casework Solutions and Huffy Bikes and has spent two semesters on the innovation team at Deckers Brands. Gannon embraced an opportunity to study abroad at the University of Wuppertal in Germany for 5 months. He has always considered himself a sketch heavy designer, but has recently taken a liking to the world of 3D modeling. Gannon strives to create beautiful products and visualize them cleanly through various means of design.
